Homeschool on the go!

One thing I love about homeschool is being able to do and take your work with you anywhere! Today was Duval Honda! Car needed repairs but school still needed to be done! We set up school at the tables, had snacks, lunch, candy, and some tv time when we were finished'! Sometimes this is almost easier than school at home because we aren't distracted by so many house things! The kids new to bring quarters for the vending machines; even traded in their dollar bills for quarters before we left! Math! Check! They got gum from one machine and were calling it Henry Ford gum!!! Guess they "got" the Henry Ford book and that field trip was worth it!! History! check! Just another day reminding me how blessed I am to be able to do this job God has given me! Over the last two months I have been trying to really focus on putting school first because I know it's the job God wants me to do for this season! It's been hard over the years to put school first and tell others "no" to all the extra stuff that tempted me and took my time from my kids. But finally I feel like I am really doing what God had called me to do 5 years ago! Homeschool my kids! I am grateful for friends and family who support us and don't look at us like "weirdos" and I am so blessed to be right where I am today!!!! God is so good! 

Henry Ford gum! At Honda!? Hmmm! Well he did start it all! When do we get a tour of the Honda service department!? They are ready to fix some engines!!! :)

Can't take pictures so we are blogging!!! Dad just said only 10 min until we start! So excited! We are gonna have an awesome time!
